Sibu Beauty – Sea Buckthorn Beauty Products

There’s a lot of buzz in the beauty world about sea buckthorn berries these days – but what are they and why are they good for our skin?  Sea buckthorn has been around for thousands of years and has many anti-aging properties due to the abundance of nutrients found in it including Omegas 3, 6, 7, and 9, vitamins A, C, E and K, along with other various minerals, antioxidants, flavonoids and more.

Sibu Beauty is a beauty line made from wild crafted Himalayan sea buckthorn berries that is 100% natural, and that’s preservative paraben and cruelty-free.  I love their company motto of “ethical meets beautiful” and their dedication to not only helping us get beautiful, but keeping the earth beautiful as well through their fair trade and sustainability initiatives.

I’ve been using their exfoliating scrub Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Exfoliating Scrub – 3.3 Oz, Pack of 3 for over a month now and absolutely love it.  Made with sea buckthorn, apricot and aloe the scrub cleanses your skin deep down, removing excess oil and dead, dull skin cells, while leaving my skin so soft and smooth.  It has a light apricot/orange scent to it that I love, and notice a huge difference in the tone, texture and feel of my skin.  I use it twice a week (as recommended), and definitely notice a glow to my skin, and find that my regular beauty products that I use absorb much better after using the scrub.

Sibu has a ton of other products as well that include cleansers, creams, serums, supplements and more.  You can find their products online or in many of your local health food stores like Whole Foods, Sprouts, etc., or check out their website for more details.
